Sketches and Drawings from 1988-1990

During my youth I spent a great deal of time doing art and a particularly productive period was during the years 1988-1990. This was also the period when I was first experimenting with LSD. During these parties, my sketchbook was often passed around and various people "tripped off" of these drawings. After my move to Ann Arbor, I found that I was unable to draw as I once had done and soon after I focused my creative interests on music. I still occasionally do art but not very often anymore. Nonetheless, here's a sample of my work, some of which will be included in my forthcoming book.

The Story Behind
"Orange Sunshine"

Duing my first visit to Ann Arbor, I discovered mescalin for the first time. My friend and I dropped a few of these and sat out in the camper that was in his garage, playing Tetris and drinking Coke (As I was pissing out the Cokes out back, the grass turned red and started to grow!!). In the middle of this experiment I played around with some oil pastels and came up with this chemically enhanced souvenir, named for the moniker of the mescalin.
